Associate Brand Manager
We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Brand Manager to join our team. At The Working Assembly, members of the Brand Management team are expected to be business partners - you will be responsible for supporting, cultivating and nurturing strong working relationships across the internal agency and client teams alike.
The Associate Brand Manager will get firsthand insight into the client's business in order to create the best conditions for the right work to thrive, leading to the success and growth of our clients and our agency. To be successful, each member of our Brand team brings an interest in areas like design, advertising, product, and/or culture, along with a desire to work with a range of clients every day, and push brands forward.
The Associate Brand Manager must have a ‘no task too big, no task too small’ mentality and will be a general pillar of support for the entire Brand Management team. You will be working closely with the Head and Senior Brand Managers, and you’ll be expected to seamlessly uphold supporting responsibilities while also handling your own assignments with agility. You should be an excellent communicator both internally and externally, ensuring that the stakeholders are well informed. You have a budding understanding of social strategy and are eager to develop this further. You have a can-do attitude and are capable of projecting calmness and authority, creating the foundations that are required for the whole team to succeed.
Client Partnership:
- Help to build relationships with clients based on consistent, best-in-class delivery and a strategic understanding of the client’s business
- Support team members and clients to keep everyone informed of project progress, and ensure that any client requests are addressed in partnership with other members of the team
- Own status document updates and work closely with Brand Managers to ensure client milestones are being met
- Develop a strategic understanding of the client’s business and competitive landscape, in order to ensure that the output of the agency is always in pursuit of the client objectives
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Contribute to a positive working environment and culture on the team, and with the broader agency
- Be a team cheerleader, promoting and advocating for the organization
Project Management:
- Become an expert in our clients’ Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review processes and ensures clean submissions with previous learnings applied
- Attend MLR meetings as needed
- Troubleshoot when necessary and have the confidence and authority to redirect projects if they are beginning to go off track
- Foundational knowledge of and interest in strategy, design and production
- Resourcing, managing budgets and timelines
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years agency/healthcare/pharma experience
- If you have social/digital project management skills, it’s a plus!
- Solution-oriented with a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to own and work on multiple projects at once
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A passion for creativity, design, advertising, brands, and culture
- Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
