Copywriter Intern Summer 2026
We are currently seeking a Copywriter Intern to join our team. At The Working Assembly, you'll get to participate in the end-to-end creative process with our team, aligning with strategy, brand and creative to support the development and creation of copy for a range of projects and teams, helping each brand and client become the best versions of themselves.
As an intern you’ll learn to create both internal and external facing language — supporting in the development of verbal identities and TOV guidelines, crafting brand messaging, website copy, along with concepting marketing and advertising campaign copy that may include manifestos, headlines, social creative, scripts and brand films.
Qualifications
- A background in creative writing or similar education
- Eager to learn and gain experience in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in the brand and advertising industry
- Stellar writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Applicants with existing copywriting portfolios preferred, student-level portfolios are acceptable
Requirements
- 4 days in-office per week are required, with WFH Fridays (please note our office is based in NYC).
