An authentic Mexican drink with a modern twist.
Agua frescas are integral to Mexican culture — they’re flavorful, they’re thirst-quenching, they’re … packed with sugar. Bawi brought the nostalgic flavors of Monterrey, Mexico, and reimagined them through a more health-conscious lens by retaining the flavors, but lowering calories and adding carbonation. As part of the brand development, The Working Assembly translated the identity to digital through the development of the Bawi website and ecommerce experience. Since its launch, Bawi has expanded into nationwide distribution and was recognized as BevNET’s 2022 “Best Packaging” award winner.

TWA revitalized the Bugaboo brand visual identity while maintaining our product DNA. The work was deployed across retail/e-tail, digital, and owned channels and we were thrilled to see the response from consumers and retailers alike. The results? Record pre-sales, global adoption, and a collaboration with a team who truly felt like an extension of ours.
